Vacancy:        relief consultant

We are looking for a relief consultant who will be involved in all facets of the relief teacher supply operation. For this vacancy, it is important you are articulate with an excellent clear telephone manner. You should have a sound knowledge of the greater Auckland region and wou will need to demonstrate the ability to use your own initiative, work efficiently and manage a significant workload. The ability to work as part of a team and strong ICT & communication skills are a must.Our ideal candidate will be a teacher or an applicant from an education background but we will consider applicants with customer relations background. It is vital that applicants hold a current drivers license, are able to work under pressure and (while training will be given) have some familiarity with accounting and spreadsheets. Applicants should also live within commutable distance from our offices in Kingsland and be happy to work from 6am – 3pm.

Your daily duties will consist of:
  • Receiving requests from schools for day-relief teachers
  • Matching teachers to requests and sending them to schools
  • Sourcing teachers through receiving and reviewing applications
  • Holding interviews, reference checking and screening quality teachers
  • Creating candidate profiles on the database

The role is fulltime permanent, commencing in late February and offers a competitive remuneration according to qualifications and experience.
