  Thailand - Teachers  KG (ECE) Y1-2 - Business Manager - PE Specialist
 

This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a new international school in Thailand. The following roles are available and the school will open in August from KG 1 to grade 3; with plans to expand to a Grade 12 inclusive international school in subsequent years.

Business Manager :

Minumum Requirements:
  • Ideally will have a formal business qualification but a sound background in office administration may be acceptable
  • Must be available for an August 2015 start or earlier
  • Must have had significant experience in office administration, ideally in the education sector
  • Must be able to efficiently manage school accounts; ie create and work within budgets, operate the payroll and administer the school's day to day financial operation.
  • Must be able to meet the financial and administrational requirements of the school leadership team and directors
  • Must have a positive personality with the resourcefulness required for this role
  • Must have the ability to work cooperatively in a developing team

Physical Education Teacher :

Minumum Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelors (or equivalent ) and a tertiary qualification in PE
  • Must be available for an August 2015 start
  • Must ideally have significant PE experience
  • Proven classroom experience
  • Must be culturally sensitive and be able to meet the educational aspirations of the school's wider community
  • Ideally (but not essentially) would have had experience in an overseas school
  • Must have a positive personality with loads of the energy required for this exciting role
  • Must have a proven and successful work history, with the ability to work cooperatively in a developing team 

Kindergarten ECE: two teachers wanted

Minumum Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelors (or equivalent degree) in ECE or Junior Primary teaching
  • Must be available for an August 2015 start
  • Must ideally have significant KG Reception experience
  • Must be culturally sensitive and be able to meet the educational aspirations of the school's wider community
  • Ideally (but not essentially) would have had experience in an overseas school
  • Must have a positive personality with loads of the energy required for this demanding role
  • Must have a proven and successful work history, with the ability to work cooperatively in a developing team
  • A good sense of humour is essential!

Music Teacher - International School in Oman


Our client is a K-12 school,  based in Muscat, Oman. The school adopts an international curriculum with English as the medium of instruction. Staff come from different cultural and educational backgrounds: the Middle East, Europe, Asia and from English speaking western culture countries such as New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, South Africa and Canada. Students are mostly Arabic speaking Omanis. The school is a fee-paying private school that attracts families from the elite of Muscat society. You will be responsible for teaching playing the recorder using English as a medium of instruction to primary and middle school students whose first language is not English. The position will entail leading school music clubs and events. Teacher duties include preparation, attending professional development, attending meetings, participating in school activities and trips that may occur within or outside school hours.

Minumum Requirements:
  • Good command of English is necessary
  • Recognized Bachelor of Education (with Music endorsement for flute or recorder) with 3 years of classroom teaching experience
  • Or Bachelor of Music with 4 years of teaching experience
  • Able to start immediately

Candidate requirements - Our client is seeking a young, single, New Zealand-born, New Zealand-trained, humanities teacher  to provide private tuition for a 10 year old Turkish boy. An interest and involvement in sports is essential and you will possess a Bachelors Degree (English major preferred) and formal Teaching qualification. You should have at least two years fulltime NZ secondary school experience and applicants with significant private school backgrounds will be preferred.  You will be well-mannered, warm and empathetic yet you will have high academic standards and expectations. Highly literate, professional and well organised, you must be able to provide systematic teaching methods and possess the creativity to give your charge confidence and a world vision.
 
Remuneration – Up to NZ$80,000/year for the right candidate. Tax free if non NZ resident for 12 months (see IRD for conditions)
