Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language (TESL/TEFL). or, A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, applied linguistics or modern languages, with a teaching certificate or diploma, such as: (CELTA) or English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA). A minimum of four years of experience in your specific field.

Our client school in Muscat, Oman opens in August 2014 and is seeking qualified KG to Grade 1 teachers to to work in this new purpose-designed Centre
Candidates Must be 54 or younger because of visa/residency issues.
Must have a degree and teaching qualification both of which are recognizable in Oman.
Must have at least 2 years’ experience in the area of Early Childhood.
Experience overseas especially in the region would be advantage.

Private Tutor / Teacher – Turkey
Start Date - Commences ASAP in 2014
Term – One year contract (extendable on mutual agreement)
Candidate requirements - Our client is seeking a young, single, New Zealand-trained, (ideally NZ Citizen) teacher with at least two years fulltime NZ secondary school experience to provide private tuition for a 10 year old Turkish boy. IELTS knowledge is desirable and applicants with significant independent school backgrounds will be ideal. You will be well mannered, warm and empathetic yet you will have high academic standards and expectations. Highly literate, professional and well organised, you must be able to provide systematic teaching methods and possess the creativity to give your student confidence and a world vision. An involvement in sports is essential and you will possess a Bachelors Degree and formal Teaching qualification.
Remuneration – Up to NZ$80,000/year for the right candidate. Tax free if non NZ resident for 12 months (see IRD for conditions)
Single accommodation provided - in-house - but could be separate if the successful candidate can justify the request.
Flights - pre-paid to Turkey with return flight provided on contract completion
Working hours – on call at key times before and after school. When the boy is in school from 8.30 to 3.30, the teacher must plan work and take the rest of the time as his/her own use. I.e. Gym etc. Once the boy comes home and at the weekends, the teacher works around the boy’s programme. He also has Turkish and Maths tutors during the week. In the summer, they are either on the family yacht or in a 5 star holiday village until end of August. Teacher works full day with 1 day off per week. Resort owned by the family and the mother works from there. It is based in Southern Turkey, Antalya- Kemer.
Holidays - 1 day off per week. 1 month annual holidays
