  Thailand - Teachers  KG (ECE) Y1-2 - PE Specialist
 

This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a new international school in Thailand. The following roles are available and the school will open in August from KG 1 to grade 3; with plans to expand to a Grade 12 inclusive international school in subsequent years.

Physical Education Teacher : one teacher wanted

Minumum Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelors (or equivalent ) and a tertiary qualification in PE
  • Must be available for an August 2015 start
  • Must ideally have significant PE experience
  • Proven classroom experience
  • Must be culturally sensitive and be able to meet the educational aspirations of the school's wider community
  • Ideally (but not essentially) would have had experience in an overseas school
  • Must have a positive personality with loads of the energy required for this exciting role
  • Must have a proven and successful work history, with the ability to work cooperatively in a developing team 

Kindergarten ECE: one teacher wanted

Minumum Requirements:
  • Must have at least a Bachelors (or equivalent degree) in ECE or Junior Primary teaching
  • Must be available for an August 2015 start
  • Must ideally have significant KG Reception experience
  • Must be culturally sensitive and be able to meet the educational aspirations of the school's wider community
  • Ideally (but not essentially) would have had experience in an overseas school
  • Must have a positive personality with loads of the energy required for this demanding role
  • Must have a proven and successful work history, with the ability to work cooperatively in a developing team
  • A good sense of humour is essential!

  Oman - Two Middle school English Teachers Grade 5-8, one High School Economics teacher

Our client is a K-12 school, based in Muscat, Oman. The school adopts an international curriculum with English as the medium of instruction. Staff come from different cultural and educational backgrounds: the Middle East, Europe, Asia and from English speaking western culture countries such as New Zealand, UK, Ireland, USA, South Africa and Canada. Students are mostly Arabic speaking Omanis. The school is a fee-paying private school that attracts families from the elite of Muscat society. Using English as the medium of instruction you will be responsible for:

  1. Teaching up to 30 lessons per week across a range of grade levels and subjects.
  2. lesson preparation and delivery, marking of class work, assessment and reporting of student participation, progress and performance.
  3. Participating in school trips, events and activities, possibly outside regular school hours.

Start date:
September 2015

Minimum Requirements:
Good command of English is necessary
English post: Recognized Bachelor of English (or Education) and 3 years teaching experience
Economics post: Recognized Bachelor with Economics Major and 3 years teaching experience

The employment package includes:
Annual return travel from home country,
pick up from the airport upon first arrival,
furnished air-conditioned shared apartment, electricity and water provided
private medical insurance,
transportation to and from work on work days,
non-taxable salary dependent on qualifications and experience, and an up to two-month paid annual holiday. The school organises visa and residency and meets the official fees for these arrangements.
Sunday to Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm working hours. In addition to the annual summer leave, the school recognizes the official holidays of the host country.
